Seething with rage at the helplessness you feel, you get back in the driver's seat and pull out. The vehicle is driving itself now. Your participation in the night's proceedings is no longer needed. Phillip is next to you, on the phone. As you draw nearer to the final destination, you realise something that makes your hands return to the wheel. The System only has control of you as long as you're alive. With one final glance at your oldest friend, you press the accelerator to the floor and yank the wheel left, straight into the path of an oncoming car.
