Glancing in the rearview mirror, you see no one is following you. Smart move, taking the back road. It's twilight, that ambivalent period of time that can't decide whether it's day or night. It's eerie to see the back roads utterly deserted like this. The road cuttting through the mountain range rings the city in an almost perfect circle, and cars often take this route to escape traffic. Tonight? There’s no one. After 15 minutes you both relax, convinced now that no one is following you. You even think about putting on the radio. Suddenly, screeching metal, a bang, a loud popping noise and the van skids, shudders, stops. You both get out and what you see fills you with dread. The right tyre is blown, and the road is strewn with nails. What do you do?
